Pendampingan Identifikasi Prioritas dan Pemecahan Masalah pada Unit Rekam Medis Rumah Sakit Universitas Airlangga

Problems in hospitals are closely related to the quality of services provided. One of the work units that has a significant impact on the quality of service is the medical records work unit. The medical records work unit has a crucial role in supporting the quality of health services, but often faces challenges such as data inaccuracy and delays in information processing. Therefore, from the many challenges faced, there needs to be a priority to address problems that have a major impact and must be resolved immediately. The implementation of this implementation was carried out at the Airlangga University Hospital, Surabaya in February 2025. Community service activities were carried out by delivering socialization of problem priority calculations using the USG method and problem solving using the FGD. The results of the priority problems are that qualitative analysis has not been carried out on inpatient KLPCM, there is no destruction machine, and there has been no retention of medical record files. The results of the problem solving are the most critical initial analysis of BRM, and creating a special team to include qualitative analysis into standard SOP.
