Peningkatan Kesadaran Masyarakat tentang Pentingnya Rekam Medis dalam Pelayanan Kesehatan

Medical records are an important element in the health service system that functions as documentation of the patient's health history and the basis for medical decision-making. However, public awareness of the importance of medical records is still relatively low, which has the potential to affect the quality of health services. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect public awareness of medical records as well as strategies that can be applied to improve them. The research method used was a quantitative survey with a questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents in various health facilities. The results of the study show that the level of public understanding of medical records is influenced by educational factors, access to information, and interaction with health workers. These findings indicate that efforts to increase awareness can be carried out through health education, strengthening regulations, and optimizing electronic medical record systems. The implications of this study are expected to help increase the active participation of the community in maintaining and utilizing medical records more effectively to support quality health services.
